Lesson Overview
This lesson is designed for a 5th grade science course. The class has just completed their unit on the different body systems location, functions, and parts. In this lesson students will understand how to identify what is wrong with their bodies, and be able to communicate which system is being affected. It is essential that students are able to communicate when something is wrong, especially when they find themselves in a place where English is necessary. This lesson can be adjusted for older or younger grades by incorporating past tense, and more descriptive vocabulary.
